Thomas Durcan, 69, former owner of the Shamrock Club and the Green, White and Gold Lounge on the South Side, died Monday in Christ Hospital and Medical Center, Oak Lawn. Mr. Durcan, who lived in Oak Lawn, owned the Shamrock Club, 1318 W. 79th St., from 1961 to 1966, and the Green, White and Gold Lounge, 2908 W. 63rd St., from 1966 to 1970. Mr. Durcan is survived by his wife, Bridget ”Bridie”; two sons, Thomas and Sean; two daughters, Deidre Walsh and Maureen Bilotta; two sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. Friday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9349 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn.
