– On combining career and motherhood (she has three daughters, Elisa, 16; and twins Leslie and Leonor, 8): ”You have to be very organized and you need to have somebody at home to help you.” Pause. ”And, it is good if your children are very good children.”
– On her lifestyle: ”For the past 20 years, I have been almost vegetarian, not because I think I ought to live that way, but because I prefer to. I don`t smoke. I don`t drink.” Not even wine? In France? ”But, of course. Some red wine. And champagne, of course. But only the best.”
– On exercise: ”Not at all. I don`t like sports. But I go for the sea water at least once a year,” to a spa in the south of France or sometimes in Spain.
– On her own style: ”I am masculine/feminine,” she says, referring to her penchant for combining a strictly tailored suit with feminine accents.
