George Bernstein, 69, a partner in Ogden Oil Co. for more than 40 years, died Saturday in Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke`s Medical Center. Mr. Bernstein was a World War II veteran, serving as a master sergeant in the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific. He also was a partner with his brother, Armand, in the Ogden Oil Co., and a member of the Evelyn Steinberg Cancer Foundation. Survivors include his wife, Pearl ”Pepi” Cohen; a daughter, Susan; a son, Harlan; two brothers; and two sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Weinstein Brothers Wilmette Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
