Services for Alan Bass, 40, a professional photographer and amateur actor killed Friday in a natural gas explosion in his home at 824 N. Racine Ave. will be at noon Wednesday in Weinstein Brothers Memorial Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., in Wilmette. Mr. Bass was one of three people killed in the explosion, one of a series on the Near Northwest Side. Mr. Bass took photographic profiles for actors, actresses and models across the city. He is survived by his parents, Milton and Vella Bass; and a sister, Rosanne Keynan.
