Washington provides maximum pass protection for quarterback Mark Rypien. Tight ends Warren and Middleton played a major role during a season in which the Redskins gave up only nine sacks. Bennett and Talley are two of the best pass-rushing outside linebackers. On artificial turf, Bennett`s speed will be an advantage, but the Redskins always account for similar rushers such as Lawrence Taylor and Charles Haley. Coach Joe Gibbs has called Warren his MVP in past years.
