Barbara Hochberg of Glencoe, and Barbara Levy Kipper of Chicago are the 1992 recipients of the Deborah Award from the American Jewish Congress for their work on behalf of women`s equality. The award is a copper and brass candelabrum designed by Richard Bitterman to hold two Shabbat candles. Hochberg is Sportmart`s general merchandise manager. Kipper chairs the board of the Chas. Levy Co., a publications distribution firm.
