Frank H. Zavell, 63, formerly of Flossmoor, died Wednesday in his New Buffalo, Mich., home. Mr. Zavell was vice president of sales for Weibel Vineyards of California. He started his career in the wine industry 30 years ago. He was a regional sales manager for E & J Gallo Winery of Sonoma, Calif., as well as a regional sales manager for Paul Masson Vineyards and for Sebastiani Vineyards. During the late 1940s, he served in the Army and was stationed in Japan. He is survived by his wife, Leatrice ”Lee”; three sons, Michael, Reid and Brian; his mother, Minnie; three grandchildren; and a brother. Services will be at noon Tuesday in the Weinstein Brothers Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
