Beverly J. Matson, 60, a former resident of the Northwest Side who recently moved to Chandler, Ariz., died Saturday in a hospice in Chandler. Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Dotzler; two sons, Phillip and Brett Benning; eight grandchildren; her mother; and two brothers. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 4949 W. Patterson Ave.
