This could be the start of something beautiful for time-stressed people:

an annual calendar that begins in February.

This procrastinator`s delight is the brainchild of Judy Plackie, director of sales and marketing for Revere Graphic Services Co. ”It came into being frankly because everybody else does a calendar at the same time,” says Plackie, whose late-starting date keeper features artwork by artists employed in the advertising business. ”To start ours with January would be passe.”

Indeed, consider what might be next? Folks who can`t quite get around to buying that box of candy by the conventional deadline can give sweets to their favorite Valentines on St. Patrick`s Day. And why bother with a calendar week that begins with bleary-eyed Monday? Instead, try scheduling the work week with a calendar that begins on Tuesday. The mind reels.

For a free Revere ”February” calendar, write 815 S. Jefferson St., Chicago 60607. Note cards featuring the same artwork are available for $5 by calling Nancy Gorski at 312-922-8816.
