Milton Kolar, 76, a former Chicago attorney, died Jan. 29 in Sarasota, Fla. Mr. Kolar worked as an attorney with the City Products Corp. in Des Plaines, retiring as a vice president in 1981. He also served as director of the Civic Federation of Chicago and chairman of the Association of General Merchandise Chains. Born in Cicero, he attended Northwestern University and received a law degree there in 1939. He received an alumni service award in 1969. Mr. Kolar lived in Lake Forest for 25 years until moving to Sarasota in 1985. He is survived by his wife, Rae; two daughters, Caryn Miller and Christine; a son, Britton; three sisters; and five grandchildren. Services were Feb. 3.
