Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Occupation: Actor.

Birthday: June 21, 1954. I was born when Elvis was still driving a truck. Birthplace: New Brunswick, N.J.

Current home: Los Angeles.

Marital status: Single.

Working on: I play Eldon on ”Murphy Brown” on CBS-TV, and I`ve got two movies coming out this spring: ”Folks,” with Tom Selleck, and ”The Paint Job,” with Bebe Neuwirth from ”Cheers.”

The last good movie I saw was: ”Life Is Sweet.”

Favorite performer: Little Richard.

Favorite childhood memory: My Aunt Gerry taking me for rides in her `41 Cadillac and buying me Beatles records.

Prized possessions: My two `61 Cadillacs. One`s pink, and one`s white.

Personal heroes: Elvis Presley, James Cagney, Marlon Brando and Muhammad Ali.

Every New Year`s I resolve: To finish that brilliant play I`m writing.

I`d give anything to meet: Rod Steiger.

The worst part of my job is: Finally figuring out what your character is all about after the last performance of a play.

A really great evening to me is: Hearing some good rock `n` roll.

My fantasy is: I`m in a small, off-Broadway theater doing a one-man show that I`ve written.

The worst advice my mother ever gave me was: ”Get a job.”

People who knew me in high school thought I was: Nuts. I got into a lot of trouble-stealing cars, you name it. I was your typical juvenile delinquent.

My most irrational act: Driving to Maryland when I was 18 to marry my girlfriend.

The worst time of my life: When I was drinking, when I was a kid.

If I weren`t an actor, I`d be a: Truck driver.

When people first meet me, they think: ”Oh my God, he really sounds like that!”

Words that best describe me: Dark, brutally handsome and ”Why does he still wear pointy shoes?”

The title of my autobiography should be: ”Unchained.”
