I am a physics teacher at Chicago`s Lane Tech High School. While I received a three percent salary increase this year, the real estate tax assessment on my home just doubled!
Since purchasing my home, my salary has tripled, inflation has increased fivefold, and my home is now valued for tax purposes at ten times the original purchase price!
Help! I can`t deal with the above mathematics! Does anyone know of a vacant park bench or large cardboard box that is still available?
