Why exchange the successful blue box project for the known failure of the blue bag program?

The blue boxes are roomy, easy to handle and sturdy.

Furthermore, why should we spend our money to buy blue bags when it is a known fact that the waste management companies have refused materials retrieved from the garbage dumps because the material has been damaged?

It takes time and energy to remove labels, wash and pack cans and bottles. There will not be many people who will do this when they know it is going to end up in the city dump.

Let us keep a successful program and use the blue boxes which have been a source of revenue for our community.
