Anna Quindlen`s Feb. 4 column high-lights the women behind the men in politics. Disappointed by our failure to tap this vast reser-voir of leadership talent, she notes ”we consistently lose half of our best leadership prospects (women) by virtue of their sex.”
Perhaps Ms. Quindlen has put her finger on the real problem-sex itself. It seems to me that we also lose many of the other half of our leadership prospects by the non-virtue of theirs.
