Once again the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place provided an enjoyable, informative day. However, it seems attendance records are the only measure of success for the organizers.

I and a dozen co-workers visited the show on Lincoln`s birthday only to be greeted by thousands of teens, pre-teens and toddlers. My boss and I had the extreme displeasure of watching three children jump up and down on a $70,000 vehicle while Mommy and Daddy took a picture. We also spied several vehicles with deep scratches.

To insure this annual exhi-bition continues to be success-ful, I suggest that attendance be limited to those who are at least old enough to drive.
