It is disturbing that the Tribune elected to cover the Mike Tyson rape trial in the sports section in all its graphic and gory detail.
Due to the seedy nature of its content, I am unable to let my children watch television or listen to radio. I have, however, let them read the comics and the sports section of the newspaper. Your decision to carry a news story in the sports section now prohibits me from even doing that.
If the Mike Tyson story is a news story, then put it in the news sections of the paper. It is clearly not a rape story, unless you are trying to say that rape is a sport.
