– Where: In Cooperstown, N.Y., at the intersection of New York Highways 80 and 28, 80 miles west of Albany and 90 miles east of Syracuse.
– Hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, May 1 to Oct. 31; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Nov. 1 to April 30. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year`s Day.

– Membership: A new class is elected annually by 400 members of the Baseball Writers of America through mail ballots. The class of 1992-pitchers Tom Seaver and Rollie Fingers-were announced in January.
