Republicans in the National Women`s Political Caucus issued a list of women it says President Bush should consider as vice president on the 1992 GOP ticket. They are Kansas Sen. Nancy Kassebaum, Labor Secretary Lynn Martin, Reps. Nancy Johnson of Connecticut and Connie Morella of Maryland, former Rep. Claudine Schneider of Rhode Island and Nevada Lt. Gov. Sue Wagner. The bipartisan caucus based in Washington, D.C., earlier
released its Democratic recommendations. Says caucus president Harriett Woods: ”Our Republican members are saying we want our party leadership to reflect our concerns. We think a woman should be on the ticket.”
