Police in the Swiss resort of Zermatt plan to set up radar controls to stop drivers from breaking the 12 m.p.h. speed limit. Officials say tourists complain because many of the town`s 370 electric-powered cars and carts are driven at dangerous speeds. Vehicles with conventional combustion engines are forbidden for environmental reasons. Police had trouble finding traffic radar that could measure such slow speeds, but a machine has been bought for $52,000, and culprits soon will be getting speeding tickets.
