– St. Benedict regional-St. Benedict (6-19) and St. Gregory (13-14), who split two games in the Metro Prep Conference this season, advanced to a rubber match in the title game Friday after Demetrius Preston (20 points, 17 rebounds) and Dennis Wills (19 points) led St. Benedict past Quigley 71-53 and Ken Rostek scored 20 points to lift St. Gregory over Chicago Latin 59-41.
– Lisle regional-Aurora Christian (22-5) got 22 points from Greg Phillips to eliminate Lisle 69-51. Chris Dockery had 16 for Lisle (17-10).
– Harvard regional-Chris Hyland had 21 points and Dirk Stanger 13 to pace top- seeded Marian Central (23-3) over host Harvard 73-50. Chris Nolan had 27 for Harvard (7-17). In the second game, Mike Schneider had 18 points as Big Eight co-champion Marengo (19-7) routed North Boone 59-37.

– Hyde Park 85, Washington 51-Larry Hickman and Alphonso Johnson each finished with 16 points for Hyde Park (14-8).
– Farragut 94, Austin 54-Farragut (19-6) built a 37-21 halftime cushion and coasted behind Curtis Ganes (22 points), Arvy Arter (20) and Victor Hardges
(16). Keith Davis led Austin (4-19) with 14.
– South Shore 88, Bowen 39-Tobias Lampkin (20 points), Che Chapple (19) and Ronald Coleman (14) led five players in double figures for South Shore (19-8). – Wells 119, Orr 99-Jamal Cheeks (48 points, 10 rebounds), Sam Willis (22 points, 17 assists), Dwayne Ford (17 points) and Deandre Clark (16 points, 22 rebounds) led the way as Blue-West representative Wells (10-9) stunned Orr
(18-10) of the Red-West. William Thomas (26 points) led Orr.
– Young 98, Flower 52-James Baptiste had 22 points, Lorenzo Pearson 15, Maurice Copeland 13 and Dwayne Franklin 12 to lift Whitney Young (15-11).
– Corliss 78, CVS 61-Corliss (18-8) build a 41-35 halftime advantage and coasted past CVS with Turando Long netting 24 points, Andrew Carrothers 18 and John Schaffer 12. Shawn Latimer had 23 for CVS (4-19).
– Kenwood 55, Fenger 50-Ronald Porter had 17 points and David Brown 14 as Kenwood (9-15) stunned Blue-South rival Fenger (15-10). Romaine Rodgers` 17 points led Fenger.
– Carver 71, Morgan Park 56-Kelvin Anderson and Chris Smith had 19 points apiece and Theo Fefee and Eric Eleby 17 apiece as Carver (10-16) rallied past Morgan Park (12-13).
– Collins 66, Manley 64-Collins (14-12) won narrowly as Parrish McCullom scored 19 points. Kevin Mitchell had 15 and Brian Ross 14 to lead Manley
(14-10).
– Near North 54, Crane 48-Terrence Young scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Near North (18-10). Marlon Minifee had 14 points and 13 rebounds and Varnard Rule added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Louis Roy led Crane with 14 points.
