Robert J. Ryan, 68, a former Democratic committeeman for the 15th Ward, died Friday in Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ryan was a committeeman from 1964 to 1971. For five years, he was facility manager at the secretary of state`s office, 99th Street and South Park Way. He also was a surveyor for the Cook County Highway Department for 15 years and later worked for the Department of Streets and Sanitation for 10 years before retiring in 1984. Survivors include three brothers and three sisters. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Rita Catholic Church, 6243 S. Fairfield Ave.
