The Tribune`s reporting on this year`s election has been pitiful. We finally have an election in which voters not only have a choice but their choice clearly matters in close-run races.
However, when I turn to the newspapers hoping to learn more about the candidates and how they stand on issues, what do I find? Insightful, informative news analyses of the candidates? No. Months of columns full of gossip or horse-racing news about who is ahead in which poll.
Clearly, if I wish to make an informed decision about whom to vote for, I should not rely on the Tribune as a source of information.
