A pair of Illinois Institute of Technology architecture students were selected as finalists in an international competition to design an
environmental pavilion for the 1992 World`s Fair in Seville, Spain.
Richard Kulczakand Russell Haley were among the 10 finalists selected from nearly 1,000 entrants. Their design is notable for its glass-tubed moving sidewalks. ”It`s a very prestigious competition,” said an IIT spokesman,
”so we very proud to be represented.”
