Eighth-grader Pui Ki Tse of Mark Sheridan Academy, 533 W. 27th St., is the only girl among the top eight winners in the Chicago Public Schools Whiz Kid Math Challenge earlier this month. She won a $100 savings bond and a trophy provided by St. Paul Federal Bank for Savings. Approximately 165,000 students in grades 4 through 8 competed in the school and district playoffs.
