Meyer Rubenstein, 71, who owned and operated a general contracting company in Morton Grove, died Monday in Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Mr. Rubenstein, who was also known as Miky Ruby, ran the Ruby Co., which is still in operation, for 35 years. Mr. Rubenstein was president of the CCBMF, a fundraising organization for cerebral palsy research, and was a member of other non-profit groups, including the Chicago Board of Rabbis Para- Chaplaincy. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; a daughter, Arlene; a son, David; a brother, Irving; and eight grandchildren. Services were Wednesday.
