William J. Herrmann, 78, of Hoffman Estates, a retired vice president with Continental Illinois Bank and Trust Co., died Friday in Humana Hospital, Hoffman Estates. Mr. Herrmann, who was with the bank for 14 years, was formerly involved with several residential home developers. Survivors includes a son, William Jr.,; three daughters, Dolores Weichmann, Joan Burger and Cissy Cederlund; three sisters; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1775 Grove St., Glenview.
