Suzanne Wiegner pitched two shutouts, one of them a no-hitter, as the softball team (17-14) won double-headers over Wisconsin-Parkside and Notre Dame.
Wiegner no-hit Parkside 1-0 after Kim Kubinski singled home two runs in a 5-2 first-game victory. De Paul went on the road for its sweep of the Irish. Christy Roode and Kim Blackmore shared a 1-0 first-game shutout. Wiegner won the second game 2-0.
In track and field, the women finished eighth and the men 12th in the Illini Invitational in Champaign.
