– Luis Reyes, Kelly-He hit .529 in six games last week. He also scored eight runs, had five RBIs, four doubles, two stolen bases and two triples.

– Phil Seminero, Joliet West-The catcher/third baseman`s totals for three games were 9 for 12 with four doubles, one home run and eight RBIs.

GIRLS SOCCER

– Jayme Warning, Oak Forest-The goaltender shut out Homewood-Flossmoor 1-0 and Bremen 9-0.

GYMNASTICS

– Ben Ehst, Downers Grove South-He broke a 12-year-old school record in vaulting with a score of 9.1 in a dual meet with Addison Trail. The score was also the highest score a Downers South gymnast had received in any event.

SOFTBALL

– Teresa Young, Amundsen-The senior hit two home runs and had five RBIs in an 18-17 victory over Roosevelt.

– Krysten Matlawski, Stagg-The freshman hit a grand slam in an 11-1 victory over Bolingbrook. She also yielded only two hits in an 11-1 defeat of Thornridge.

TENNIS

– Pablo Ruiz, Barrington-He won the singles title Saturday at the Barrington Invitational. He defeated Brad Hawthorne of Bloomington and Mike Milburn of Oak Park.

TRACK AND FIELD

– Jenna Wrobel, Naperville Central-The freshman set two school records at the Downers Grove North Invitational. She won the 100-meter high hurdles in

:15.7 and the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in :47.8.

VOLLEYBALL

– Kevin Barnett, Naperville North-In three matches last week, he was 33 of 35 on attack and had 16 kills and seven blocks.

– Jay Crihfield, Evanston-His statistics for two matches were 82 of 109 setting, 34 of 35 serving with five aces and 10 digs.
