Jason Imrisek hit a two-run homer and a solo shot and Bill Cusack had a two-run shot for Andrew.
– Joliet Central 15, Romeoville 1-Dean Duke (3-3) threw a no-hitter, struck out 10 and walked two for Joliet Central in the SICA West.
– Lake Forest Academy 15, U-High 14-Matt O`Brien was 3 for 5 with a triple, home run and two RBIs and Sameer Sait was 3 for 3 with two RBIs for Lake Forest Academy (5-3, 5-1) in the Independent School League.
– Schaumburg 11, Wheeling 5-Jim Glover (3 for 4, home run, triple, four RBIs) and Dennis Bagnole (two hits, three RBIs) led Schaumburg (9-5) in the Mid-Suburban.
– Thornridge 13, Bloom Trail 3-Mike Dolan hit a grand slam and Steve Meyerchick had three RBIs for Thornridge (5-5, 3-2 in the SICA East).
– Stagg 12, Shepard 4-Kevin Bay-Anderson (4-1) hurled a six-hitter, Ben Inselise homered and Jerry Pezdek, Dan Darrah and Brett Malekovic had three hits apiece for Stagg (11-3, 3-0 in the SICA North).
– Farragut Spring Classic-Farragut (13-4) won three five-inning games, including a 12-0 two-hitter by Ernesto Gonzalez (2-0) over Roosevelt and an 18-1 11-strikeout one-hitter by Ignacio Gonzalez (2-0) over Manley. Carlos Gonzalez (five hits, home run, seven RBIs) and Warren Valle (five hits, home run, five RBIs) led the Admirals.

– Chicago Latin 4, North Shore 3-Winning pitcher Brian Addison hit a game-winning sixth-inning home run and Alex Abell had a solo blast for Latin

– Westmont 11, Ridgewood 1-Kristy Walter (3 for 4, three-run homer, four RBIs) led Westmont (10-1, 7-0 in the Southwest Suburban.
– Lisle 15-9, Wilmington 0-0-Sophomore Kristin Dipert (7-3) threw back-to-back five-inning no-hitters, striking out 10 in each game, for Lisle
(13-6, 7-3 in the Interstate Eight).
