Occupation: Actor.
Birthday: April 30, 1975.
Birthplace: Belgium-my father was in the Air Force-but I grew up in Oak Park, Ill.
Current homes: Los Angeles and Oak Park.
Car: A black 1991 GMC truck-and four motorcycles.
Working on: I play David Kevin Healy on ”Roseanne” and David Springer on ”Billy.”
The last good movie I saw was: ”This Is My Life.”
I stay home to watch: I watch everything to learn, things like audience reaction, how actors play off each other, camera shots.
The book I`ve been reading is: ”Johnny Got His Gun,” by Dalton Trumbo.
Favorite performer: Right now I`m really into Gary Oldman.
Prized possessions: Leather jackets.
Nobody knows I`m: Impatient. I`m soft-spoken, and I hold my temper in until I`m alone.
I`ve never been able to: Take direction from someone I didn`t respect. That`s why I didn`t get along with my teachers.
I`d give anything to meet: My mother`s father. I`m Polish, Italian and Irish, and he`s the Irish part. I`d like to find out about my Irish roots.
A really great evening to me is: Friday nights, because that`s when we tape the shows. I`m not into socializing.
The worst advice my father ever gave me was: ”Never trust anyone.” He was right to a point. There`s a fine line between trust and dependency. I would never depend on anyone.
The one thing I can`t stand is: People talking to me while I`m on the phone.
If I could change one thing: I wouldn`t have to work in L.A. I hate it. The people are very, very cold.
My most irrational act: When I was in 2nd grade, I was in line at the water fountain and I accidentally bumped into a girl and she chipped her tooth. I ran away, and I`ve always felt guilty about it. I think about it every time I pass a water fountain.
The worst time of my life: Between 6th and 7th grades. I didn`t work for a year. I couldn`t focus, I couldn`t concentrate. I got in fights. Then I started working, and my grades shot way up.
Three words that best describe me: Moody, spontaneous and honest.
