Rhode Gear, a maker of bicycle equipment, has introduced a new version of its popular Child Seat carrier system. The Kid Seat, available at bike dealers for a suggested price of $69.95, has a three-point harness system that secures a child of up to 40 pounds at the shoulders and waist and Velcro foot straps.
