In response to your April 11 editorial, ”Choice should mean choices,”
you obscure the real issue by combining an unrelated issue. The fact that infertile couples are desperate to adopt should not be used to restrict a fertile woman`s choice whether or not to continue a pregnancy.
I am part of the vast majority of pro-choicers who are not pro-abortion. Despite its unappeal-ing aspects, abortion cannot be removed as a choice for women. The needs of an infertile couple should not be elevated over the rights of a woman.
