Nine of 10 employed women in Switzerland work in service jobs-defined as sales, secretarial and hotel positions-compared with 5 of 10 employed men, according to figures released by Zurich`s Office for Equality of Men and Women. City researcher Silvia Grossenbacher says young women still are advised by parents and peers against non-traditional jobs.
