Treasury notes fall: Yields on five-year Treasury notes fell in Thursday`s auction to the lowest level since January. The average yield was 6.75 percent, down from 6.93 percent at the last auction, on April 23. It was the lowest rate since five-year notes averaged 6.28 percent Jan. 23.
