James McCarry Murray, 79, owner of a Chicago news distribution company for 30 years, died May 14 in his Lake Havasu City, Ariz., home. Mr. Murray, formerly of Chicago, owned Park Avenue News Distributors until his retirement in 1975. He was also a past exalted ruler of Chicago West Elks Lodge 2187. He is survived by his wife, Lea; two daughters, Patricia Habich and Janet Verri; two brothers; a sister; and seven grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
