John H. Mitchell Sr., 92, a food broker and resident of Wauconda, died Wednesday in Libertyville Manor Extended Care Facility, Libertyville. He represented canning factories and food manufacturers and sold to wholesalers and distributors. His customers included Jewel Food Stores. Survivors include his son, John Mitchell Jr.; his daughter, Barbara Stutz; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., Skokie.
