This tale isn`t about a flood of ideas. It`s not even about artistic inspiration gushing forth.

It`s a dry yarn about a work of art called ”Plug.”

Now that the Great Chicago Flood is receding into memory and the city`s underground tunnels are drying out, Chicago artist/photographer Paul Zubrzycki is offering this ink drawing to commemorate the breaching of the infamous leak in the tunnels.

And Zubrzycki, who once spray-painted pictures of clothespins on downtown Chicago sidewalks, isn`t stopping there.

He`s proposing another ink drawing to memorialize the monumental screw-up that led to the Great Flood.

You don`t have to be a rocket scientist-or even a member of the Army Corps of Engineers-to figure out the title.
