Tish Johnson used a 5-3 match-play record Tuesday night to open a 59-pin lead over Dede Davidson after four rounds of the $50,000 LPBT Brunswick Open at Hoffman Lanes in Hoffman Estates.
Johnson had a 26-game pinfall total of 5,937. Leanne Barrette rolled a 300 game, her second in as many weeks, and moved into third with 5,805 total pins.
Rounding out the top five were Linda Kelly (5,772) and Aleta Sill
(5,732).
The tournament continues Wednesday with the final two rounds of match play.
