In order to facilitate clean-up from the Great Flood, parking was temporarily banned in the Loop. Now the city wants a permanent ban to ease bus transit and business deliveries. The city should also consider the needs of the disabled driver.

After several years of planning, special parking spots were designated for disabled drivers displaying wheelchair plates or parking cards. This thoughtful accommodation by the Daley administration was accepted by the disabled community as a positive step forward in recognizing their needs.

Please restore and continue this most appreciated parking accommodation for the disabled.
