Virginia C. Ellis, 83, a longtime resident of Evanston and an operator and supervisor for Illinois Bell for more than 40 years, died Sunday in Middleton, Wis. She was born in Chicago, but lived most of her life in Evanston with her sister. After her sister`s death, she moved to Madison, Wis. There will be no services.
