More than 80 Chicago-area women this month paid $100 each to join the WISH List, a national organization raising money to support viable Republican women political candidates who support abortion rights. The new members of WISH-Women in the Senate and House-also pledged to contribute another $100 by November to at least two GOP women candidates. WISH List founder Glenda Greenwald of New York says her goal is ”to change the face of politics and balance of power.” It is modeled on the Democratic EMILY`s List.
