Edward J. Cottrell, 90, died Sunday in a Morton Grove nursing home. A Wilmette resident, Mr. Cottrell was a self-employed painter and decorator. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Edward and James; and six grandchildren. Services for Mr. Cottrell will be private.
