In a recent editorial, you call the Bush administration policy toward the Haitians ”shameful.” I call it necessary and realistic. The United States should not and cannot take in all the world`s oppressed refugees. We have more than enough problems taking care of our own native-born citizens, and we are broke. Our resources have been pushed to the limit. I urge all government officials not to give in to the ”do-gooders” and dreamers concerning this problem. No more refugees!
