Robert W. Beardsley, 69, a retired accountant, died Tuesday in Ft. Smith, Ark. Mr. Beardsley was born in Chicago and received his MBA from the University of Chicago. He was an accountant for C.P. Hall Co. and Argonne National Laboratory. He was a corporal in the Army and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Pat; a son, Doug; a daughter, Muggy ”Bill”
Murray; a sister; a brother; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be Friday in Ft. Smith.
