Joseph C. Weidman, 59, a former Chicago police officer, died Wednesday in Little Company of Mary Hospital, Evergreen Park. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a former employee of Campbell Soup Co. Mr. Weidman is survived by his wife, Carol; four sons, Mark, Daniel, Christopher and Michael; a daughter, Jeanne Goberling; six grandchildren; and two sisters. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9525 S. Lawndale Ave., Evergreen Park.
