It is finally happening. On two different evenings in one week, the topic of discussion on ”Nightline” was the budget deficit. Cutting entitlement programs seemed to be the approach, and not increased taxes.
We have had a federal deficit since the time of FDR. Maybe the politicians should work on this major problem, without pay, until they come up with a solution. They may have the answer as quickly as they increased their salaries.
