These boots were made for talking. Talking about, that is. True conversation pieces, Seychelles`s leather cowboy boots feature cowboy scenes or Navajo textile designs.

”It`s part of the spaghetti Western craze,” explains Richard Leas, footwear manager at Bloomingdale`s, 900 N. Michigan Ave., where the women`s boots sell for $120 and $138 (They also are at Marshall Field & Co. stores). Leas is referring to Italian-made Westerns of the `60s, where characters and costumes were exaggerated. ”It`s not supposed to be serious, it`s tongue-in- cheek,” he adds.

How to wear them? Team them up with tights, leggings, jeans, or even short skirts. Just remember: KISS-Keep it simple, sister. These boots are so busy you don`t want many more distractions.
