More than 130 black women from South Africa will be in Chicago next week for a three-day exchange of information on education, health and business with 200 African-American women. The visitors are with the 2,000-member National Council of African Women, organized in 1937 by 15 South Africans. ”When you compare apartheid with slavery, you see these two groups have some similar history,” says Yolanda Harris of the host committee.
