Mary E. Murphy, 81, a former schoolteacher and longtime Berwyn resident, died Sunday at her home in Winfield. Mrs. Murphy was for 25 years a teacher at St. Odillo Catholic School and recently had been active in the older adult-education program at the College of Du Page, in Glen Ellyn. A native of Summit-Argo, Mrs. Murphy was a resident of Berwyn for some 50 years. She is survived by her son, Patrick, and four grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Rd., in Wheaton. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield.
