Bertha Coles, 89, a longtime South Side resident, died Thursday in Hyde Park Hospital. Ms. Coles, who was born in Houston, was a housekeeper. Services will be held at noon Thursday in Metropolitan Community Church, 4100 S. Martin Luther King Drive.
